Team: A group of people working together toward a common goal.
All too often “teams” are simply groups of people working on their own individual agendas with no common goal and no clear leadership.
Imagine harnessing the power that comes from appreciating the individual strengths each member brings to the team. Imagine reaching a shared understanding of and commitment to the team’s purpose or goal. Imagine powerful, effective communication that not only keeps the team focused, but also links the team to others in the organization.
In this customized workshop participants will learn:
- The core motives that drive their own and others’ personalities, wants, needs and behaviors.*
- How to “speak the language” of other personalities to enhance relationships.
- How to hold productive team meetings, using meeting management tools, such as an agenda, timekeeper and scribe.
- How to reach consensus on the team’s mission and other issues that affect performance.
- How to develop team operating procedures, including methods for resolving conflicts.
- How to communicate with, and win support of, other teams on a peer level or higher management level.
*This workshop incorporates the Color CodeTM theory of personality differences. |
